About this deal

You do not want to miss Mia and Garrett’s journey from enemy step-siblings to each other’s perfect match!

Here’s the thing. I shouldn’t be rating this. It doesn’t meet my criteria, since I only read 50% of it. I normally only rate if I read at least 80%. However. When I’m with Mia, I don’t feel alone or like I’m battling the heavy winds of my own emotions. I’m so focused on her, and even when we were fighting or teasing each other, with one look, she kept me tethered. It hits me that the girl I never thought I could be with might have been made for me all along. What I Struggled With

please don’t say that…. I know there’s no shame, but I mean…how would you feel if it was [your girlfriend]? Flashing her puss—" The supporting characters in this book are also amazing. Big shout out to my favorites Eden and Drake. We get more from Drake in Give Me More and I knew there was a reason I love him. Eyes on Me Book Review I have been wronged. I was out moraled. I can deal with a lot when it comes to taboo romances. Birthday girl? Loved that shit. Age gaps? I can do it. Step siblings? Sure I guess, AS LONG AS THERE ISN’T A SIXTEEN YEAR AGE GAP AND OUR MALE LEAD KNEW HIS LITTLE SISTER SINCE SHE WAS EIGHT. AND SHES A VIRGIN. WHY. I loved Mia and Garrett. Sara Cate can write chemistry between the love interests so well and their chemistry was palpable. I could feel it.She also forgives way too easily. Raise your standards, girl. And stop being immature. And stop using the words “flesh” and “belly.” I don’t know why, but they are 0% sexy. “Flesh” reminds me of Hannibal Lecter. “Belly” reminds me of a dog. Stop that.

What I loved - GARRETT. My goodness I really enjoyed reading a H that was secretly broken. He has been silently dealing with depression and although he was the fun guy, the people person, inside he felt alone. I really enjoyed seeing an extremely accurate depiction of functional depression with major depression episodes. I also loved getting to see more of the friendship between him and Emerson (MMC from Praise). I thought Garrett was written beautifully and getting to watch him grow and open up was awesome. And finally, I loved how strong Mia was. Was she slightly immature at times? Yep, but she's only 23 and it made sense for her character. But, she was strong in who she was, with her sexuality, and her comfort in front of the camera. I loved that she wasn't afraid of new things. And she wasn't afraid of Garrett's darkness. When I found out we were finally getting a Drake story I squealed because I was that excited. I cannot explain the appeal I had to Drake before reading this book because he is a man whore but something about him called to me and I needed this story. Sara Cate gave me so much more than I thought I was going to get. This one follows Garrett and his step-sister, Mia. Mia came in to his life when she was just 8 and he was in his 20's. Although they didn't technically grow up together, any time they were in the same room they didn't get a long. Until one day, Garrett goes searching for some fun watching cam girls and his now 23 year old step sister tis the girl he finds online. Don't think that the taboo aspect of the story has been forgotten. It wasn't. It's there in their thoughts and in their interactions with their family, and as we also get a glimpse into the past. But honestly, it didn't matter to me one bit, because that's eclipsed by everything they are.

Success!

I can show you my sometimes ugly mess of a life and you can show me yours, and it doesn’t scare us away." Mia was a pleasant surprise for me too. She's unapologetic and unashamed to be who she is. She knows what she wants, and she owns her life, and her curvy body. She's a camgirl, and she likes to be in control of what people get to see. And yes, she has an annoying stepbrother. Someone she's always been attracted to, drawn to, somehow, but she's never done anything about it.
